InsiderAlerts stores account and delivery data needed to run the service, and uses public SEC EDGAR materials as the source for filing-based alerts. This page describes the main categories of data we hold and how they move through the product.
We store your email address, password hash, verification-code state, and account identifiers so you can create an account, sign in, verify your email, recover access, and manage your subscription and delivery settings.
We store the ticker symbols you add to your watchlist, along with bulk stock-list additions tied to your account. This data controls what securities you track across the InsiderAlerts dashboard and any linked delivery channels.
If you link Telegram, we store the Telegram user ID, username when available, and short-lived linking tokens used to connect your account securely. We use this data only to confirm the link and deliver alerts to the Telegram account you connected.
We store billing-related state such as your plan, Stripe customer ID, Stripe subscription ID, Stripe price ID, subscription status, current billing period end, pending plan changes, cancellation state, and recent invoice metadata shown in account management. Payment card details are handled by Stripe, not stored directly by InsiderAlerts.
If you subscribe to email onboarding or newsletter flows, we may store your email address, subscription timing, and sequence status so we can send welcome emails and scheduled follow-up messages.
InsiderAlerts uses public SEC EDGAR materials, including Form 4 filings and related company filing data, as the source for market alerts. We may store filing metadata, parsed transaction details, and supporting ticker-universe data so alerts can be generated and delivered efficiently.
InsiderAlerts is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Public SEC source data may contain delays, omissions, corrections, or errors, and our product reformats that data for convenience.
